The flight on a Saturday are not cheap. They are priced at £300+.

I'd wait a while, they're likely to fall nearer the time when they don't sell out.

TUI announces new route to Calabria
New for Summer 2019, TUI have launched a weekly Saturday direct flight to Calabria from Manchester Airport beginning 11th May until 26th October 2019. This new route provides a link to the Calabria region in Italy with TUI being the only airline to fly to Lamezia Terme Airport.

0600 etd and at £607 return! I don't think that there will be many takers at this price.

Tui (Thomas Cook) are offering many Calabria holidays from 2019, including Gatwick departures. Maybe they are trying to pick up new business away from Tunisia and Egypt.

I got told they have taken over pizzo beach club do not know how true it is, 499 return from Manchester I think from May. EAsyJet from Liverpool to Rome prices are ok the. Catch train to Lamezia have done this a few times views from train are lovely, also Ryani air to Rome then train isn't that bad either, just take a drink before you board, though at Naples you will be able to buy a drink and sandwich if need be.

I have been told that TUI have taken over Club Med which is next door to the Pizzo Beach Club.
This is much to the chagrin of the PBC owners who were allowed to pay for the use of some of the Club Med facilities.
I presume that Thomas Cook are doing some marketing for TUI.
One positive outcome of this is that Calabria is getting more publicity but then TUI is a German company and the Germans discovered Calabria many years ago.
