Last year I bought a dongle and mobile internet package for 1 month with the 3 network. It was a total waste as it took about 5- 10 minutes to load every single page ( just like the old dial up ).
Can anyone recommend the best broadband mobile internet package. In an ideal world I`d like to get some TV on line as I`m going to be in Italy for the Olympics and would like to keep up to date.
Thanks.

That will have been a poor connection. Ask people in the area that you will be in which network has the best speeds there.

I agree with GSM...

The mobile internet coverage in many parts of Calabria is pretty patchy and it can change significantly within a short distance...

The best solution is to ask around locally and then before you buy, if possible, carry out your own tests insitu...

Thanks guys

I`m up in the Sila mountains so maybe not such a good network up there anyway. Will take your advice and ask the question when I get up there.

You can check the coverage maps from all the main providers online before you go.

But like many things Calabrian, they do tend to be optimistic...

With Isca Brian the key questions are:

1) How long will they take to install the landline
and
2) Estimate your life expectancy

Then decide.
