lorica, I did have problems accessing my account when they updated the website. It's been OK since that though apart from a credit transfer today when it blocked me even though I typed the password correctly.

Hi eviegardner,
I assume you changed your Password Depositiva when you updated to the new Barclays website and the new password was accepted at that time?
You can contact Barclays to change your Password Depositiva since you have had problems with it when trying to transfer out of the account. I had to do this about 18 months ago. I think the number I called was 0039 02 4037 8205 (4 for English speaker).
I haven't had to use this facility (Pagamenti / Bonifico Estero) since they have updated their system.

Hi Lorica,
I believe that I have the "Progressive" account at €3/month. The actual cost is more than that as every time the account is credited, the monthly statements and the other paperwork they send to their clients there is a charge.
In the past 18 months I have paid €94.60 which works out to b e €5.256/month.
To answer your question with on-line problems with a "Progressive" account I haven.t had any. The system is down from time to time as it was late last night. The system does alert you when you log in whether certain facilities are not functioning.

davidnam, I had to phone to reset password when they updated the website but it's been fine since except now when I'm doing a bonifico estero. I've emailed Nicorelli in the hope she can sort this as it's a nuisance having to phone to reset yet again. Can't pay my condominium fees!

Hi eviegardner,
Just checking that the password (password depositiva) needed for transferring funds (bonifico estero) is the one you mentioned and having problems with and not the password you use when you first log on to the Barclay system.

davidnam, when I log on I use the password (8 digits) and then the pin (10 digits). For the transfer it asks for the password (not the pin) so I use the 8-digit password again. Are you suggesting there's a 2nd password?

Just translated this from my Barclays Account "Inbox".
From my point of view I hope it does only mean "Prepaid cards" and not Barclays Bank Debit Cards.
It's advance notice for those who have prepaid cards not to use Barclays ATMs
