Rocco Netuna Garden (formally Garden Resort Pizzo) is a fantastic all inclusive hotel. Have stayed there on 4 different summers. Glad there will be easier access to get there from the UK. Also for all of you have bought in Calabria.

Getting on the bandwagon, I just googled chartered flights from UK to Lamezia and just found a company that used to do this, follow the link. Perhaps this is another company someone with some clout could contact.

No its just not you loll, I would imagine that there are quite a few of us in the north/northwest who would love a flight from here not to mention the Scots the Irish and the Welsh who would also love direct flights from their neck of the woods as well, perhaps if they made a direct flight from the middle of the UK it would satisfy all of us.

Cheers from a Wirral Lass

Diane :)

Good idea! East Midlands or Leeds might be good. For now our best (living in Manchester) is L'pool/Naples and hire/drive.

Hi Meeting point

Thanks for the news I hope it is true.

Will the charter fight be selling tickets to the general public or will it be fully filled by the tour company booking the flight as part of a package ???

If tickets are going to be available for general sale when do you envisage these going on sale for flights starting April 11 ??

Only just seen this. Will be great for me (if the price is right, of course). I will be interested to hear more about this too.

Hi all,

I have talked again with the UK director of Meeting Point as some forum users have had conflicting replies from the airline.

The flight is chartered to the tour operator and so is not available as a scheduled flight to the airline itself.

It is available for booking in conjunction with some packages already (see below) and at the end of the month "Seat only" will be released at which point we'll have a formal press release as well.

Here is the link to the package:http://www.archersdirect.co.uk/product-detail/3161/19/0

Hope this helps,

Dennis.
