Sant'Andrea -based Ionian Property Services[http://ionianpropertyservices.com/] can organize airport transfers. Have used. Recommended.

Further to our earlier posting, the following seen locally to Isca Marina but we have not used, so this is information, not a recommendation.

1) On SS106 @Isca Marina: Mirijello Viaggi: [http://www.mirijelloviaggi.com/]
Website has English translation.

2) Seen on SS106 @Sant'Andrea -Shop window advert - Produzione Artigianale 54:

How and whenever you get to Isca you'll find that civilization is now making its mark.
A wild boar has run onto the SS106 hospitalizing a passing motorcyclist...
And an Irish Bar looks set to open in San Sostene...

This boar, or one its relatives, managed to get its picture in today's Calabria Ora...
We just flashed by the new apparent Irish Bar this pm...It's on the SS106 at San Sostene in the new commercial units near the Aver Brico turnoff...We were returning from shopping at Le Vele so couldn't stop with perishables in this heat...Couldn't believe my eyes...Will go back and check it out later.

Wonder if the owners of Irish Bar realise that work has ground to a halt at the large VFI development in San Sostene?
Not too sure what else is nearby.

Should have added... one of the reasons that we bought in Calabria was to escape from the... all day breakfasts, sky tv bars, Irish, Scottish or any other kind of bar from home, kiss me quick hats etc

Hi Mags,
Checked out the as yet incomplete Irish Bar on the 106 @ San Sostone/Davoli this pm.
Although there is a large sign with Irish bar & bearing a shamrock, the owners are hedging their bets as underneath it also says: 'Pizzeria, Panini & Kebabs'...
Inside the smart bar-fitting bears the word: 'PUB' engraved over the bar but the overall style is more Calabrian than Killarney...
Looks like you'll have to bring your own 'póg dom hata tapaidh' (Kiss Me Quick Hats courtesy Google translate)...
