Hi all,

This is Chris Thomas apt E25 Vista Montagna/3.2.3D San Rocco. This is an enquiry to all
those who need air conditioning, shower screens, washing machines supplied and
plumbed in and water heaters supplied and fitted in their apartments.

I own a property maintenance business in the UK and am in the process of setting
up a business in Caulonia to cater for all these needs. As we all know how
reliable the Italian workers are/have been.

We, ourselves have had many problems after purchasing an apartment, last year on
the San Rocco II site. ie trying to get someone to connect the calor gas to the
cooker and also plumb in the washing machine etc. It works out very expensive
if you do not know who to ask or where to go.

We feel that we could offer a good reasonable, reliable and trustworthy service
to UK buyers.

Chris

Although I understand your motivation for setting up such a company, your very general description of Italian workmen, is very demeaning.

We have used several Italian workmen since we moved here and yes you have to do your homework, but we have been very pleased with their service and results. We also wanted to put something back into the local economy, so use Italian workers in our business.

Surely you are going to have to employ someone local anyway to assist you with the management of the properties?

Hear hear,
Chris,
Yakomoz is correct in his words, I too run a company that has used Italian workers from a multitude of skilled areas, they are all registered in their respective fields and have so far in their time with us performed an exceptional job, to which my clients can testify.

To make the statement you have and implicate what you have, would to Italian or someone with no proir knowledge look to all purposes like the Italians are useless and unreliable crooks......Trust me they are not in any way shape or form.

I myself bid you well with your venture but please do some ground work first before posting the way you have.

Regards
M

I think I can see the point Chris is trying to make and, don't worry Chris, you will get lots of calls.

Hi Chris. I agree with Rosalind..... even though your comment was perhaps a bit "too off the cuff". There again I also live in Staffordshire and I have on occasions made similar comments about British builders! Good luck with your new venture.

Do you speak Italian, have Italian-speaking staff, or plan on learning the language?
