Very interesting and informative!

Whilst not entirely a surprise, I can honestly say with the benefit of hindsight that in my nearly 10 years of property development and sales in the Vibo Valentia province the biggest crooks I have encountered have been one Irish, one Neapolitan and a certain Sicilian lawyer!

Dennis.

A little harsh on the Irish there Dennis! I don't think there are that many Irish crooks in Calabria. Next thing you will be saying we drink a lot.

Barney - I can't imagine why on earth anyone would say that! I have however edited my post as I did not mean to generalise.

Dennis, you may have generalised but your statement is oh so true,I'm Irish and take no offence. Two down, one to go! and by God will I and many other Irish buyers get pi...d when he goes down.
I'd like to thank you and the contributors to this forum for the updates +

I watched the progame and was not surprised to see the lowest of the low seek cowardly shelter below ground, it is where they belong. I feel sorry for Italian people who have to live under these circumstances and the heroic local people who have fought back over many years, many of whom lost their lives, but it is the corruption that allows them to thrive that is even worse!!! Untill that is stopped there will be no change. I too love Italy, that started with my honeymoon many years ago but in time it would be a better country for the innocent hard working locals if they elected a government who's priority was to get rid of the underground animals and those who allow them to prosper.
