I have bought in Pizzo Beach Club, is anyone taking out landlord insurance or just the standard buildings and contents? Can anyone recommend a good insurer?

Regards,

Gerard

Hi Gerard,

We got our insurance through Intasure. I got an online quote first of all, then when I emailed asking how much extra it would cost if we were renting it out they said accidental damage by tenants was already included.

Thanks for that. I'm not looking for problems or to incur unnecessary cost but what about personal injury claims etc do you not need landlords insurance same as UK and Ireland?

It also includes £5m of public liability insurance. Is that what you mean?

Interesting, I didn't think a buildings and contents policy included public liability cover, essentially an all encompassing policy, great. So if someone hurts themselves in your property and they claim against you, your covered?

Gerard.
