Hi,
We are now using A G Law for our purchase in San Sostene (having previously had a very expensive and totally unsatisfactory experience with Giambrone....and AIPP, the "so called " International Property Professionals based in London!).
Initially our lawyer was Angela Gatto. However she left last year and we are now dealing with Dr. Pietro Gatto and Donato Gatto. So far we are very happy with their service.

Glider.

If you are in need of a new solicitor I can't speak highly enough of Jolanda our lawyer her details are below she literally saved our bacon after our original lawyer (I'll let you guess who that was!!) gave us such an appalling service we very nearly lost everything. She is always very helpful and it was a pleasure to deal with her.

Regards

Phil

Personally, I would not recommend this firm. Without going into too much detail it is very diffult to communicate with them and it seems that they jumped on the bandwagon when things started to go wrong in Calabria as did most others and no offence Josie7 Labatte are even worse and I am told that they work for VFI.

Still, looking on the bright side, at least they aren’t up before the Italian Bar, being PROSECUTED by the SRA or being wound up by HM Revenue and Customs.

Hi we are dealing with jolanda and is now asking for e2,990 . As with all Italians buildings in Calabria who we now find out were run by the mafia are now due in court in Dec . We spent every last penny of our savings and pension for a apartment to be built in brancaleona . That was in 2007 10 yrson still no money back . I thought that was all part if the package if the buildings was to go bankrupt we would be entitled to our deposit back which at the time was well over £30,000. T.o be honest we can't afford the £2990 but we can see no other way of getting our deposit back and this frightens me as even tho we pay the £2990 to jolanda we are not guaranteed the deposit back . Anyone else in the same boat as us I would like to hear from anyone who had bought in brancelona Calabria and is it wise to pa with more money for yet another court case to hopefully get our money back. It's all very very distressing . help

Could you ask Jolanda if she can help you on a 'No win No fee' basis?

Frankly, I would ask Jolanda for evidence of her securing funds for other clients on Jewel of the Sea.

I fear you may be throwing good money after bad. Honestly, I haven't heard of anyone getting their money back in recent years.
