For those of you coming over it's like August here in june, mid 30 s phew it's hot.

we are on the east coast and tractors clearing up the beach taking away all the wood drift
several beach bars have opened unlike last year when it was too windy and couldn't put their brollies up until the start of July

Hope you have a great time those of you who are holidaying here as residents here we love it all year

only drawback for we Scots is we cannot vote in the referendum

I didn't space the reply out properly.
I would vote No
Really think we are better together.
On a totally different note... I was delayed in Pisa for 7 hours recently. I flew from Lamezia to Pisa then was going on to Edinburgh.
Ryanair say I have no ground for compensation from them and enclose pages of reasons why.
Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation before and managed to get compensation from Ryanair?
Only good thing was they didn't hoot that awful horn and no one applauded on landing.

Amazing how the weather has become political!!
My wife is a Scot and would vote NO.
As far as the rest of us non-Scots, most would vote YES as we would be better off not having to subsidise Scotland !!
Seriously though we are better together than apart.
In Wales if we went separately as the Scottish Nationalists want we would be in real trouble economically. Thank goodness that the Welsh Nationalists as a political force for Independence wouldn't get anywhere.
I am a ardent Welsh Nat when we play England at Rugby or any other sport for that matter.

Hi David
I think it is right to be nationalistic re sport but to ignore our joint dependence re politics and finance would be a mistake.
I think the point about the remaining members of the UK being better off is very valid and a Yes vote could cost individual Scots people as regards to money in their pockets and support in other areas too.
The Union Jack would look different too but the Individual members flags would be exactly the same?
I hope we all remain together as we all contribute to the Great in United Kingdom.
Allen
