Hello all.

I wonder if anyone heard anything re new property under the name of "La Terrazza di Pizzo" in Calabria.

VFI is promoting it very aggressively on the Russian market.

It's also one of the available Carabria's properties listed @ FPC site.

I have found no traces of such name on this forum and should probably suggest it doesn't exist even in the construction stage so far.

As per info from VFI this appartment complex will be located within the town of Pizzo and should be ready by Dec 2010.

Don't know whether is true or not but they declare 60% of it already sold out. At least I was unable to consider any 1-bed-room appartment on the ground floor and "was lucky" to book almost last one with 2 bed rooms ;)

So any info is welcomed.

Regards,
Alexx.

Hi, Alexx,

Are you from Russia? If so, pls answer to my e-mail: avmark05@yahoo.com. I am interesting in "La Terrazza di Pizzo" and also booked the appartment. It seems to be useful to exchange with information about this property and VFI.

Best regards,
Alexander

Hi Alex and Alexandra,
Myself and my partner have also purchased in Le Terrazza, we bought a 1 bed with Solarium apartment, number 64p.
We purchased through VFI, we dealt with Barry the sales rep, they were excellent. No problems, so far, touch wood.
We are both from Ireland and are moving out there in June of this year, so we are renting for the next year and a half, until our own place is completed in Dec 2010.
We are just back since Monday, we were on the site and nothing has started so far, but we are not worried because we knew this anyway. They will be starting works on our site, when VFI have finsihed all the major building works with one of their current developments Borgo Nuovo, this development is also in the Pizzo region.
From talking to the reps on our last trip, we believe that its's now looking like 70 to 80% of Le Terrazza is sold out. I think the units sold are mainly Irish, English, a few Russians and Belgians, possibly some Swedish too. So we will have a nice mix of nationallities.
The fact that we will be out their permanently from June, we can update people from this website with site progress shots etc;
We would love to make contact with other buyers on the Le Terrazza site, so we welcome any PM's.
Le Terrazza as you both know, is situated in an excellent location, just 2 minutes from Pizzo town, so we fell in love with the Pizzo district, can't wait for it to complete.
Anyhow, I'll go for now, but if you need any more info, send me a PM or you can contact myself by checking out my profile and email me via there.
Take care, by the way we are Irish, from Cork and Limerick.
Regards,
Paul :P

Hi Grogdog,
When you leave Pizzo down and come out onto the main road, they are on the lamezia direction i.e if you are looking into Pizzo, Vibo would be to your left and Lamezia would be to your right. You just cross the road and go up a small but very steep hill, you can see the site from the road, its marked out by the bright orange netting.
Hope my directions are ok!
Even though I've been out there nearly a dozen times in the past 6 months, I still have to brush up on my landmarks LOL
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Ursula,
Yeah they are amazing, they will have a large landscaped garden also. Some of these developments look great on the glossy brochures you see, but when you see where they are plonked and whats behind them and in front of them, then thats another thing.
There is nothing behind the site and nothing can be built there, now there are houses to the left of you as you look out over Pizzo, but they are all new built and look lovely. They are also really high up, so you get a nice view of the area.
I'd have to find out for you if there are anymore left, just leave it with me and I'll get back to you.
Take care
Paul

Visited our site today, at least they have started to clear it and there were a few guys working on the site entrance, clearing a way for the diggers etc;
Spoke with some guys over here and everything seems ok, as in no problems and everything is going according to plan, touch wood!!
Best wishes
Paul

Hi folks
Some updated photos of Le Terrazza taken today, more activity on site which is great, more access roads created for the diggers, only the early stages, but good to see. Would upload more but it keeps on crashing for some reason.
Oh and yes it was 22 degrees today, first time I had to put on the air con in a long time.
Best Regards,
Paul

Has anyone been on site in the new year? What sort of of progress are the builders making?

Hi Mr & Mrs Smiley,

I passed the site today and the progress is more or less similar to my latest photos posted here on the forum.

I have also purchased in Le Terrazza, if you would like more information or more photos then send me a pm with your email address and I can send them onto you.

Best Regards,
Paul

Hi folks,

Latest photos of Le Terrazza which we took on the 28th of this month.
Great progress being made, especially now that Borgo Novo is almost complete and the builders are moving over to Terrazza.

Ciao,
Paul
