My husband and I have bought a one bed in Pizzo Beach Club - can anyone tell us if they have made a decision on a furniture pack for these apartments? I am going to an exhibition in London so will try and get more info on what is available from VFI - I will keep you posted.

:P

Hi audreyc and welcome to the forum.

We've not made any decisions yet, but I am starting to gather information on suppliers, prices etc - there have been quite a few recommendations on the forum, and I fully intend to check them all out in the next few weeks. I'm also going to try to find out if Ikea in Naples is an option (delivery wise) - I'm sure there was a post about this ages ago, but I can't find it now. Which apartment are you? We are also one bed - 151g.

By the way, I had an email from Jo at VFI the other day - she said the site is approximately 3 months ahead of schedule!!

Right up near the villas - 004F I think it is.

I hope you had a nice time out there?

Best wishes

James

We had a great time, thanks, and the weather held out - I think we left just before the rain started, although we had a pretty spectacular thunder storm during the night just after we arrived. Mossies got me though, which put a bit of a damper on things as I had quite a bad reaction - the bite areas (about 30 of them!) are still sore, and we've been back for two and a half weeks!! Still, it's not put me off - I'll just be better prepared next time! Maybe see you out there one day.

We too were over for five days between 23-27 September to check on the progress at the Pizzo Beach Club development. Was pleasantly surprised to find that a lot of progress had been made. Visited the site twice and on both occasions there was a lot of activity and workmen on site. My apartment is in the last block to be started and it was being worked on and it was great to see how rapidly things were coming along.

Visited VFI at their office in Vibo as I wanted to discuss possible alterations to my apartment. I found them hospitable and helpful.

The weather however was atrocious! Lighting, strong winds and heavy rain. Fortunately, this was mostly during the night time. We stayed in Tropea and had a wonderful time - the area is so scenic and beautiful. Loved the food too. Can't wait to go back for another visit.

NinelVaday,
What has this posting regarding Ferragudo Portugal to do with the Pizzo Beach Club?

Grumpy,
Excuse my ignorance, what is a bot? Is this an Irish expression?
Am I likely to see you this year? I am in Santa Maria from the 22nd May for a fortnight.

Will be in Calabria in a couple of weeks. Again in July. So perhaps not this year.
