Hi
Congrats on your completion and move, I am sure all the good things about Calabria will now be fully enjoyed.
I noticed on your list you have internet connection and local sim card. I have an Apt in Sant Illario and have no idea how to get on line or use local sim cards so can I ask you to please explain what you ended up doing to achieve these?

Hi Allen
You do it through your pc or laptop in the USB port.
The internet key is the connection to the web no mobile phone is necessary
We got our internet key from the 3 shop €49.00 simcard €5.00 + €15.00 for a calendar month
It is not a contract, you can buy a top up any month you want, almost any where
We found after a lot of research that the 3 coverage is better than Vodafone, Wind, etc for what we need.
For those people who can get to the 3 shop in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica i can recommend
the guy there (Franceso) speaks brill English, is very helpful & will not sell you something you do not need. Take your passport & codice fiscale + laptop if you can he will help you load the internet key
and register the simcard, you have to wait 24hrs before internet access is available

Hi All
Good progress on Bergamotto,
A few photos for you,

The last of the scaffolding is now down,
The first security gate is in,

Our Thanks to you all that have been in touch,
its always nice to hear from fellow Bergamotto people,

Things are going well but at the “domani domani” pace,
but a lot better now some of you have been able to complete,
either by POA or in person,

We will all have a complex to be proud of,
even the water in the pool is getting warmer,
only with the hand test NOT the body test,

Don’t forget if you want to stay on the Bergamotto complex when you come over to complete,
like some people have already done, just let us know,

Regards John & Sue

Hi All
Thanks for the kind words, and the emails and PM's
Bergamotto is coming on well, with more and more people, renting an apartment when they come out to complete,
If you want any info, updates, or photo's, Please just get in touch, we are here to help,
We have just done a snagging on two more apartments,
and with the build quality on the complex, we only found
a couple of minor issues, we have to date only charged our clients "one glass of wine" for snagging,

Hi all,

We will be in Bergamotto for approximately a week commencing 24th March, if there are any fellow Bergamottians (or otherwise) around it would be great to meet.

Cheers

Hi All fellow Bergamotto buyers!

Can anyone help me re-AC units as we need to fit ours soon,, we have been told we need 3 internal units which is fine BUT also need 3 external units?? is this correct or can we getaway with just one external unit as don't really want external units all the balconies because they blow hot air when in use and make it impossible to sit next to on the balcony?? Help!!!
Any pictures of the external units would be great??

Thanks

Dave

Hi All,
Hi Lou / Dave,
You only need ONE external unit on the balcony,
Bergamotto only has one balcony with the plumbing and electric supplied to it, for the external unit,
Make sure you go for a quality make, from someone who also gives a good after sales service,
The cheep ones cost twice has much to run, spare parts are hard to come by, and no one wants to service them,
Aermec MFM 73 / MFM 84 INVERTER TECHNOLOGY external unit, and MFM0200W / MFM0250W internal units are the make we use on Bergamotto and other complexes, we have many people you can contact to put your mind at rest, regarding the quality and service you can expect from us,
Please feel free to use this and all the other information
i post on this forum,
I have been involved with the building industry for 30 years,

Hi All fellow Bergamotto buyers!

Can anyone help me re-AC units as we need to fit ours soon,, we have been told we need 3 internal units which is fine BUT also need 3 external units?? is this correct or can we getaway with just one external unit as don't really want external units all the balconies because they blow hot air when in use and make it impossible to sit next to on the balcony?? Help!!!
Any pictures of the external units would be great??

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

I have pictures of my AERMEC Aircon units fitted in my 2 bedrooms and in the living room.I also have a picture of the external unit fitted on my small bedroon balcony.
Enzo/John should be able to source and fit for you.
Enzo fitted mine, and did a very good job.
Feel free to E-mail me -davidsharlene@hotmail.com.

Hi All,
Hi "iloveitaly"
Thanks for those kind words,
you made Sue & I :D

We have again this last couple of weeks,
a lot of happy people renting apartments,
and a lot of owners here enjoying the Bergamotto complex,
and some of our renters have already booked for next year,

All the best from a warm and happy Bergamotto,

Hi All,
Hi Lou / Dave,
You only need ONE external unit on the balcony,
Bergamotto only has one balcony with the plumbing and electric supplied to it, for the external unit,
Make sure you go for a quality make, from someone who also gives a good after sales service,
The cheep ones cost twice has much to run, spare parts are hard to come by, and no one wants to service them,
Aermec MFM 73 / MFM 84 INVERTER TECHNOLOGY external unit, and MFM0200W / MFM0250W internal units are the make we use on Bergamotto and other complexes, we have many people you can contact to put your mind at rest, regarding the quality and service you can expect from us,
Please feel free to use this and all the other information
