Hi all

First time to put up a message.
Just back from Calabria having visited Amusa Mare and Villagio Bergamotto.
Was out this time last year and there have been some changes and hardly any.
Amusa.....nothing has changed, just a few gardens done ( very nicely ) and probably 25-30 apartments "occupied" if you count a water heater mounted on the wall on the patio as occupied.
The pool has been well started and have been advised it will be completed by August.
The access roadways will now not be tarmac but be gravel / stones.
The development looks desolate and overgrown.
I fear that not all of the 36 downstairs apartment owners will maintain their gardens and we will end up with garden, jungle, garden, jungle.

Bergamotto.....Blocks a and b to roof level.
block c internal and external plastering done, treads and risers being marble slabbed. Blocks d and e same as last year. F appears to be more complete than last year.
G, H and I well started.

I have various photo's and video if anyone wants a copy.

Ciao, ciao

Ivan (dublin)

We just got back yesterday. Block F is habitable, we stayed in our apartment. The stairwell needs cleaned and the lift is not working. All apartments on the opposite side from the pool are complete and one at least 3 are occupied. If the builder threw some manpower at block F it could be finished in a week or so. Block C has had half the rendering done and this is where most of the work was taking place last week. They are doing the conduit and plumbing on one side of the block, the side that is rendered is ready for the second fit, wiring etc.

The pool is fantastic, but will required to be cleaned soon.

All in all we loved staying in our apartment and can't wait to go back.

Gary & Caroline

Whats happening with all the roads and parking areas?
Does anyone know how much maintenance costs are going to be.
