The Olde Casale near Capo Vaticano is currently being sympathetically restored back to its former glory by our architect Luigi Giffone.
The property which is over 300 years old, is under going extensive works both external and internal, to turn it in to three beautifully appointed individual apartments, only one of which is now currently available.
The project is expected to take around 6 months, i will update further photos as the property progresses turning it into three truly unique and desirable homes.

nice to see old houses being used to make holiday homes rather than new developments. Hope you sell them quickly and easily so you do more!

Hi Ionian,

thank you for your endorsement. It is actually very difficult to find beautiful, noble farmhouses with good views and reasonable accessibility that are for sale.

Dennis.

Well there is part of one for sale on the west coast ..... ;-)

Most of the beautiful farmhouses on the east coast that I know of have been converted to agriturismo, B&B or restaurants.

There is one in Riace that is absolutely gorgeous but not for sale and just deteriorating.

A lot of the problem with some of the wrecks that you see around in the countryside is trying to track down the legal owners!!, but there are gems out there to be found thats for sure!!

Regards

David
