I booked flights for this summer with Alitalia back in October 2016. As I'm sure you're very much aware the company is in great deal of trouble at the moment. However flights are guaranteed over the next few months.
Has anyone experienced any problems?

Kathryn

We have just returned from Calabria having flown with Alitalia, no problem at the moment. We have flights booked later in the year too so fingers crossed!

Hi Kathryn
Hope your flights work out trouble free like ours did. When are you travelling? We have further Alitalia flights booked for the last week in August so hopefully things will still be OK then.

I remember reading an article about the Italian Government giving Alitalia funding that should see them through six months and the busy Summer season so hopefully they should be OK until later this year.

We fly out next Tuesday and back on the 18th August. Fingers crossed all will be well. We've always had very good experiences with them in the past hence the decision to take flights via Rome rather than direct.
Hope it goes well for all other Alitalia travellers too.

We've also always had good service from them so we fly Leeds/Bradford to Rome then onto Lamezia so we are hoping that things get sorted out. Have a good holiday.
