Which? Travel (May2012) has just reported the following new flights being introduced in May and June.

Easyjet - Gatwick to Bari -starting 12 June
Easyjet - Bristol to Naples - starting 12 May
BMIbaby - East Midlands to Catania (Sicily) - starting 27 May

May be of interest to Calabria owners.

I wouldn't rely on BMIbaby flying anywhere soon.
From June 11 flights are being curtailed and from September 10, flights cease completely.

I'm sorry to hear that Tony as it's very frustrating. I travelled with bmibaby in April so was OK then.

Ryanair also rescheduled our July flight resulting in an overnighter in stansted and 1 day less in calabria.

Hi seanlyons

Welcome to the forum

Which date in July has Ryanair cancelled? My sister and family and brother and family have booked with them to come over and stay with us in July but can't remember exact date.

Ryanair now offer the opportunty to pre book seats at £10 My sister hasn't. It would add a lot more to their trip. She just wishes that no one would pre book. That way Ryanair would suffer as she feels that they get enough from a booking. Having to print off your own boarding pass etc So they cut down on staff

They have booked flights from Scotland to Stansted and really cannot afford a night in London .
Ryanair do pi.. me off. You need a degree in avoidance tactics to book a flight.

They also rescheduled our flights (lamezia to standsed) from thur afternoon to thur night (12th july) but offered us a refund on the basis that the reschedule is greater than 3 hrs. so we took that and re-booked for wed afternoon with an overnite in standsted on wed nite. at least we keep our flight from standsed to dublin on thur night. if we took the reschedule we'd have lost that flight and had to suffer the £195 loss.

BTW I'm a returning member of the forum - I was active about 3 years ago when we were buying in calabria first.

My husband and I are looking to travel from the UK to Madrid and then from Madrid to Croatia and back to the UK. Does anyone know when these flights from Madrid to Zagreb will be introduced?
