Can anyone please tell me the name of the shop that took over from Per Sempre at the Due Mari site?
Do you know if they have a website?
Are they open everyday (including Monday mornings)?
Thanks
Heather

This is what I posted on the 31st October re the Stores at Maida. Just a little more information for those who wish to visit these stores.

Ciao everyone.
Back from Calabria a week ago and thought I'd just drop a line to mention a couple of furniture stores I visited.
Aiazzione (near Maida on the Catanzaro road) formerly Per Sempre not far from Lamezia airport. They are selling more or less the same furniture, beds, crockery, cutlery. bedding etc as Per Sempre did. In fact they had my details of the purchase of a sofa I purchased in January & it's delivery in March of this year on their database. They were having special promotions on certain furniture items and they were competively priced.
A new furniture store has opened across the road from Aiazzione called Mobilificio. The furniture at this store didn't suit our tastes but ceratinly worth a visit.
Hope this helps those who are furnishing out their new properties.

do you think it's a good idea (i.e. cheaper) to purchase from these furniture shops rather than buy furniture packs from VFI/Calabria Management Services etc. The latter would be more convenient but has anyone any idea if going to the furniture shop oneself makes a big saving? Thanks for any advice

We found all we needed in various shops in Calabria and probably about half the price of the pack and with the choice to do as you wish. It may take a little longer but its certainly worth it

That's useful to know, Chris & Jan, thanks. Does anyone know if there are good furniture shops in the Pizzo area?
